Amid Twitter’s restructuring and hunter biden sex videoglobal layoffs, more senior executives continue to leave the company.
SEE ALSO: Twitter will cut 350 employees as part of its path to profitabilityBarely two days after Twitter’s India head Rishi Jaitly announced he is leaving Twitter, Parminder Singh, Twitter’s managing director for India, Southeast Asia and MENA (Middle East and North Africa), announced he is also quitting via a series of tweets today.
"The INSEA/MENA region is now split, with MENA aligned to EMEA and INSEA aligned to APAC region. Right time for me to step back," Singh tweeted. A spokesperson for Twitter confirmed the move to Mashable India, sharing more details about the restructuring process.

Maya Hari will be overseeing SE Asia and India operations, reporting to Aliza Knox. Prior to this role, Hari was Senior Director, Product Strategy & Sales for APAE (APAC + LATAM + MENA) regions at Twitter. Taranjeet Singh will continue as Twitter’s Business Head for India and will work with Indian brand marketers and advertisers.
"As part of our sales restructuring process, the MENA region will now be part of our EMEA business, while Southeast Asia & India remain part of our Asia Pacific business, headed by Aliza Knox, our VP of Asia Pacific. Maya Hari is our new Managing Director of Southeast Asia and India reporting to Aliza Knox," the spokesperson told Mashable India.

Parminder Singh had joined Twitter in November 2013. Prior to this he was Managing Director for Display Solution Sales for APAC region at Google. At Twitter, Singh led Twitter’s business in Southeast Asia, India and Middle East and North Africa.
"We thank Parry for his contributions and leadership over the past three years at Twitter. He has been instrumental in setting up a strong business foundation across Southeast Asia, India and MENA, including some of our most promising emerging markets," the spokesperson added.

Singh's departure follows the resignation of Rishi Jaitly, the Vice President of Media for Asia Pacific & Middle East North Africa at Twitter. In July, Shailesh Rao, VP of Asia Pacific, Latin America & Emerging Markets at Twitter also quit the company.
Top level departures from Twitter’s India team comes weeks after people from its Bengaluru developer centre were let go, most of whom belonged to ZipDial, an Indian startup Twitter had acquired. At its quarterly earnings call last week, CEO Jack Dorsey announced that the company would lay off 9 percent of its staff globally. Karen Stocks, the MD of Twitter Australia announced last week she was leaving the company as well.
