I don’t usually look twice at open-box gear unless I’m feeling brave or broke. But $89.99 for Sony’s PULSE Elite wireless headset at Best Buy? That’s a risk I’m more than willing to take. Brand new, this thing goes for $149.99. For $60 less, I’ll deal with a few cosmetic scuffs if it still sounds like a dream and plays nice with my PS5.

I think what makes this headset a standout is the combo of planar magnetic drivers and PlayStation Link tech. It delivers that low-latency, high-fidelity audio that makes every game sound like it was mixed in a studio instead of a broom closet.
