【Watch Carnal Cravings (2006)】
Ultra-wide screens that cover nearly the entire front side of a smartphone aren't reserved for flagships anymore.
LG has just launched three phones from its new Q series,Watch Carnal Cravings (2006) all powered by the entry-level Snapdragon 435 processor, and all armed with a 5.5-inch, 18:9, 2,160x1,080 pixel display -- the same display size as on the company's flagship G6 phone.
SEE ALSO: LG launches super-powered version of its G6 flagshipThe three Q phones -- LG Q6, LG Q6a and LG Q6+ -- are pretty much identical, the main difference being the amount of memory and storage they come with. The LG Q6a has 2GB/16GB, the Q6 comes with 3GB/32GB, and the Q6+ has 4GB/64GB.
Other than that, all three phones have a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie cam, a 3,000mAh battery and it comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The Q6 aesthetic
In terms of design, the Q6 looks like a G6 that's put on a little weight and obviously there's no rear dual camera. But the front of the phone is pretty much all screen, and that's what counts.
All three phones come in black and platinum with a number of addition colors on each model: blue (Q6+), white (Q6) and gold (Q6 and Q6a).
Those specs may not wow you. But for those of you who aren't ready to dish out a shedload of cash on a phone but still want in on the huge screen trend, the Q6 family of phones might be a good choice.
LG hasn't yet released the pricing for the phones, but we do know that the Q6 will become available in "key markets" in Asia next month, followed by availability in Europe, Latin America and North America.
