【18 U.S.C 2257】
We still don't know what exactly will8 U.S.C 2257in the next version of Windows 10, but we're finally pretty sure what its name will be.
A leaked image from Twitter user Pennybridge1969, spotted by The Verge, reveals the name of the new operating system: "Spring Creators Update."
SEE ALSO: Microsoft is ditching Windows 10 S for 'S Mode'The name first appeared in a Microsoft blog post last year, but is apparently in the latest Windows 10 preview build, which rolled out Wednesday to select Windows Insiders. (This is Redstone 5, a preview of the update that will roll out this fall, not of the Spring Creators Update, which is expected in April.)
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
If this photo is accurate, it doesn't tell us all that much about the new update except that Microsoft isn't doing anything new with its naming scheme. The past two major Windows 10 updates have been named "Creators Update" and "Fall Creators Update" respectively. Still, since the company has already used "Fall Creators Update," maybe this fall's update (assuming there is one) will be forced to break new ground.
The preview build of this update (Redstone 4) rolled out to test users on Tuesday. Redstone 4 mostly includes bug fixes to various features of the operating system including Windows Mixed Reality, Timeline, and its video library.
The update will also introduce a new privacy setup interface and new privacy setting options. Some users will see a new screen where they can quickly toggle on and off features such as speech recognition, find my device, location, and inking and typing.

To get early access to the newest Windows 10 updates, join the Windows Insider Program.
