SEE ALSO: Pikachu has invaded Snapchat with a face lens that's too awesome for wordsThe cover of the upcoming issue of Japanese magazine Televi-Kunwas posted on an anonymous confession board, according to Twitter user Karubiimunomono. And according to Karubiimunomono, the magazine's cover heralds the return of Brock and Misty, Ash's closest human companions from Season 1, in upcoming episodes of the Pokémonanime.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.
The tweet, translated with Google Translate, explains that Ash, Pikachu, Brock, and Misty will all be appearing in Pokemon Sun & Moonbroadcasts, airing on Sept. 14 and Sept 21.
Just over a month ago, it came out that Brock and Misty were being erased from history in the film Pokémon the Movie 20: I Choose You!, which celebrates the Pokémonseries' 20th anniversary with a condensed remake of the first 80 episodes of the Pokémonanime. Brock and Misty were huge parts in the original saga, and it was pretty devastating to learn that they were being replaced.
Luckily, the anime is doing the right thing and bringing everyone's favorite friends back in the Sun and Moonsaga.
Whether they'll have short cameos or longer parts is yet to be revealed, but it's exciting to see them return after years and years of absence.
