【"""the inherent eroticism of"""】
What could """the inherent eroticism of"""possibly be more epic than Star Wars? Only watching it in a massive theater with live music. The New York Philharmonic is presenting its first-ever Star Wars concert series in September, featuring all three original films and The Force Awakensset to their iconic scores.
SEE ALSO: 'Star Wars' Han Solo spinoff just lost its directors. Where did it all go wrong, and what happens next?Starting Sept. 15, a handful of tickets are still available to see A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and The Force Awakens. Tickets start sat $65, but that's a movie plus a concert, packaged into one.
Live performances of music from the screen are slowly creeping up as a coveted fan pastime. The Game of Thronesconcert experience hit some two dozen cities on a national tour featuring composer Ramin Djawadi. John Williams won't be present for the Star Warsseries, but it will be conducted by seasoned film composer David Newman. Other films with memorable music get the concert experience from time to time, too -- the Mann Center in Philadelphia is slowly pushing through Harry Potter with one movie every summer, and Williams himself plays snippets of his filmography every year at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Rogue Onecomposer Michael Giacchino led a Lost concert in 2016 for a the show's anniversary (a smaller, similar concert was held in Hawaii during the show's filming).
