Those Tesla Model 3 orders are senior lady sex videotaking awhile, but at least the electric carmaker's CEO Elon Musk is keeping customers in the loop.

Over the weekend, Musk, who is apparently sleeping at the factory as he takes over production of the behind-schedule electric sedan, responded to a tweet about a dual-motor version. Musk said to expect the special dual-motor Model 3 configuration in July -- the car company needs to focus on the basics first. The dual-motor design was leaked earlier this year.

With current Model 3 production apparently just under 2,500 vehicles per week based on Bloomberg's Tesla Model 3 Tracker, Musk said "we need to achieve 5K/week with model 3 before adding complexity that would inhibit production ramp." So the company is about halfway there.

Others jumped at the opportunity to have their Model 3 issues addressed by Musk himself. One woman asked about when white seats would be available (also probably July, Musk said). A chorus chimed in about an unfair reservation system.

Musk said he would look into it. By early Sunday morning he promised Tesla would "take corrective action immediately." And he apologized.

A spokesperson said Tesla didn't have more information about the special Model 3s beyond Musk's tweets.
