TikTok's new hit song sounds like the Powerpuff Girls dipped into Scarface's powder,Watch Good Boys Use Condoms (1998) puffed a joint, then ripped a night out in the East Village....then wrote a hyperpop, bubblegum song about it.

Girly Girl Productions seems to make a lot of similar songs designed to go viral. A recent track, for instance, features a play on the "demure" trend. Most songs seem to follow a similar hyperpop, bubblegum aesthetic, and ridiculous lyrics formula.

So if you suddenly hear tons of tracks on TikTok combining girl power, vapes, and drugs, well, you'll know where it originated.
