It's barely past the morning of the Apple iPhone 8 launch, video of young japanese school girls force to have sex with old man and pro photographers have already posted some sweet shots taken with the new handset.
As it's done with the iPhones before this, Apple has continually tweaked and improved its cameras.
The iPhone 8 and larger 8 Plus lenses are the same as their predecessors, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, respectively. But it's put the upgrade in a new A11 Bionic image processor -- an improvement over the iPhone 7's A10 Fusion.

The A11 chip is also behind a new fancy trick that the larger iPhone 8 Plus is able to do. For Portrait Mode's bokeh background, which relies on the 8 Plus' dual cameras to achieve, Apple's now added Portrait Lighting. That processes the image taken to allow some faked (but convincing) studio lighting effects, including lighting the subject's face more dramatically, and casting them against a blacked out background.
Here are some great shots from Singapore pro photographers.

Contour lighting is quite a bit more dramatic, flicking highlights onto the subject's nose and cheekbones, with shadows cast around the chin area.

Franz Navarrete explains, of this shot below: "I used the contour setting to slim down the cheekbones and jaw line of my subject. The bokeh separated my subject from the background."
