【1986 Archives】
After 22 years986 Archives many Pokémon fans are shocked to find out that one of the original Pokémon moves like a frog with its very shapely legs.
In a recent video posted by the Pokémon Company, fans were treated to a scene from the upcoming Pokémon: Let's Gogames showing the Pokémon Venusaur following the player and hopping along like a frog. To some, the Pokémon's elongated gams were a huge revelation.

People who previously thought Venusaur walked like most four-legged animals expressed their confusing and overwhelming emotions on Twitter soon after, mostly focusing on how long Venusaur's back legs actually are.

Unlike most frogs, Venusaurs tend to weigh around 220 pounds, which means their legs are not only surprisingly long but astoundingly powerful.

Others pointed out that this is nothing new, with one Twitter user pointing out that this same walking animation was used in the 1998 Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Stadium.

Since the beginning, Venusaur and its evolutionary predecessors Bulbasaur and Ivysaur have resembled a sort of hybrid between frogs and dinosaurs, with the only major difference from normal Earth frogs being the plants they carry on their backs.
Don't listen to the haters Venusaur, keep on hopping with those mighty legs.
