A week after the San Diego Chargers left their fans in the cold to move to Los Angeles following San Diegans' refusal to finance a new stadium with public money, the team's biggest hire is apparently still living in the past.
SEE ALSO: The San Diego, er, Los Angeles Chargers epitomize the rotten scam that is pro sportsThe Chargers announced the move last week, and their update logo was instantly roasted on Twitter. Others, yours truly included, saw the relocation as the latest symptom of how rotten pro sports have become.
But that's all in the past -- at least, it was supposedto be.
Tuesday was all about the future for the Los Angeles Chargers. The team introduced new coach Anthony Lynn in a press conference held in their new hometown.

Actually, perhaps Lynn is on to something here. The San Diegellay Chargers does have a certain ring to it, and that name does cover all the bases.
The Chargers' official account conveniently edited Lynn's botched sentence by cutting it short.

But the team fooled no one.

Good job, good effort. Think fans are bitter about the move?
At this point, the only thing that could make the Chargers more of a joke is if they decided to play their first two seasons in Los Angeles in a 30,000-seat soccer stadium.
Oh, wait -- that's already happening.
