Look, eroticization of violence chess hasn't been sexy since probably the 18th century.

So it's no wonder the folks at London's 2018 World Chess Championship are looking to get people titillated with a logo that looks like something out of the Kama Sutra.

If you're even able to do the deed while playing chess, good for you, but for the rest of us rather perplexed at the logistics, this is the actual kinda NSFW logo for the tournament.

The organisers of the tournament, which is set to take place in London in November 2018 said the branding is "controversial and trendy, just like the host city," according to its website.

The visual identity was designed by Moscow-based agency Shuka, who also was behind a much more subdued branding for the 2016 tournament.

You can bet World Chess knew there would be plenty of talk from the logo. They're even selling prints of the design on the website, which it thinks will become a collectors item.

We're sure there's a market for it.
