Media Watch is a program known for its tough and Patang Paseena (2024) Hindi Web Seriesamusingly snarky take on the media landscape in Australia.
It's the television show that calls out other television shows. So when something bad happens onMedia Watch, you bet people take notice. Especially when it's porn-y.

She screenshots include quotes like: "You will be having sex with someone this afternoon on camera? I will," and "How did that go? Do you feel closer now that you've had sex?"

While it might seem like an odd Valentine's Day-themed easter egg, or a delightfully tragic mistake from a transcriber, it turns out the captions are from another program.
As Junkeepoints out, the captions are from a Louis Theroux documentary called Twilight of the Porn Stars, which aired at the exact same time but on a different channel on the ABC. It's also available on iview.

But for those looking for a quick chuckle, the captions for the ABC programme playing as normal at the time of writing. Sorry.
The ABC denied any mistake with the captions. "The ABC has confirmed that the captions for last night's episode of Media Watchpublished on iview correlate with the program and that, at no time, has ABC TV amended these captions," an ABC spokesperson said.
"The ABC has not received any complaints from audience members regarding mis-matched captions, but are aware of one viewer who has posted images with contrary captioning."
